Lots of lovely paintings recently but there's something fresh about this one. It's nice to see the modern structures and the crisp lines really add to it. Be nice to see if you have done one from the other direction with the Science centre behind the bridge - a friend took some great photos this way. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us in 2007 - best wishes for the New Year.

Hello David

Thanks for looking and commenting on my painting and the others. The view from the direction you mentioned would be the classic view, which I will probably paint in the future.
The apartments to the right of the painting were of particular interest to me in this instance, hence the angle.
Hopefully there will be many more pieces on view here in 2007 for you and Nadine to look at!
Best wishes to yourself and Nadine for the new year from Lesley and I

Hi - just wanted to say that I bought this painting today up in Doune. I have never seen your works before Henry but I am a convert and I have a space for this right now....watching with interest on your future works!!

Hi Henry - I just bought this painting today and have to say I am totally smitten. I am by no means an art connoisseur but I know what I like and this painting will take pride of place in our home. Will be looking out for future works!

Thanks
